Ian has more than 35 years combined Adventure Racing experience. He is one of the most successful athletes in the sport and has been involved in events of all sizes and formats around the world. In addition to his impressive experience as a participant, he has served as course designer, event manager and race director on events ranging from 24-hour sprint races to expedition races including the Eco-Challenge, ESPN X-Games and Outdoor Quest.

WATER DIRECTOR: Billy Mattison

Billy has been co-owner of Timberline Tours International Whitewater since 1982, the largest and most experienced outfitter in the region. He lives in Vail, CO, with his wife Hélène and 5 year old twins Liam and Scout.
